What is Play for All?

Quite simply...it's a fundraising initiative spearheaded by Style Media Group, Inc. (formerly Sierrastyle Publishing), the Rotary Club of Historic Folsom and the Historic Folsom Rotary Foundation (HFRF) to build the first universally accessible playground in Folsom. All donations flow through HFRF and it's 501-C3 status, making donations to the Play for All playground tax deductible. In association with Shane’s Inspiration, this integrative recreational facility realizes the crucial and equitable assimilation of our community’s children so that children with disabilities may play alongside their able-bodied peers. This unique playground is also supported by the Folsom Parks and Recreation department and the City of Folsom.

How much do we need to raise?

We've raised about $70,000 and we need about another $60,000-$75,000.

Where will the park be built?

The City of Folsom's Parks and Recreation department has pledged space within Folsom City Park to build this amazing playground.

When will the park be built?

We had initially hoped to break ground in November 2008, however, because we have not raised enough funds yet, we're now hoping to have the playground in the gound and ready to go in late 2009.
